Abstract

|
|
In order to estimate age for unknown remained fragments of jaw and teeth as a part of individual identification, the author analyzed various data such as morphology, occlusal attrition, apical closure, pulpal size, root canal index, mandibular angle, position of mental foramen and mandibular foramen obtained from unknown remained fragments of jaw and teeth.
The author recognized the significance of forensic odontologic age estimation for unknown remained fragments of jaw and teeth in this study.
